1. The term curriculum can be defined as a roadmap for learning and as much as focuses on knowledge and skills that are judged important to learn. Curriculum can also be concerned with what is planned, implemented, taught, learned, evaluated and researched in schools and all level of education.
2. The individual trained under an area of specialization such as mine is capable of doing the following:
a. The individual should be able to work on lathe machine.
b. The individual should be capable of working on bench vice.
c. The individual should be capable of working on grinding machine.
d. The individual should be capable of working on a shaping machine.
e. The individual should be capable of working on milling machine
f. The individual should be capable of work effectively on Hearh forge.
ii. The ten learning experiences that the individual trained under an area of specialization such as mine be capable of doing what I expect them doing are as follows:-
i. Keep the safety rules
ii. Differentiate between tools and equipments
iii. Measuring and marking out tools
iv. Care and maintenance of tools, equipments and machine
v. Selection of materials for projects
vi. Grinding
vii. Chiseling and scraping operations
viii. Forging operations
ix. Permanent metal joining processes
x. Cutting and filling operations
3. The five challenges affecting curriculum planning in VTE are:-
i. Financial problems
ii. Professional problems
iii. Technical problems
iv. Infrastructural problems
v. Quality control problems
